We’re pleased to announce the release of a major new version of ignite. ignite 6 version includes the following extensions to the ignite API Product Management Platform.
Business-focused users can product manage their API Products and track success. They can browse an API catalog to innovate by combining existing API building blocks to create new API Products or request new APIs/API Products.
In rapid collaboration with planners, API designers can pick up design tasks and design APIs from a consistent information model. You can now quickly get to a design that can be built and run using simple and streamlined guides or view details of API designs and the information model from which they are built.
A fully comprehensive API Management and execution runtime natively integrated with the ignite Plan, Design, and Build components.
Watch the demo to see how you can use foundation packs and ignite to invent and build a new API product to underpin a digital product that allows a customer to schedule a tire change while visiting a store.
All of the API’s exist and can be reused at a microservice (or REST method) level with the exception of a scheduling API. This is designed built and deployed in ignite.
